Wedding Planner v1.0
--------------------

Introduction
------------

Wedding Planner is a shareware database application for the
Psion 5 that keeps of track of wedding guests, their responses
to invitations, the gifts you have received from them, and
whether you have written a thank you note. The program gives
some overall statistics and lets you export the data to a PC
word processor or a spreadsheet program.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------

Create a directory on your Psion of /System/Apps/Wedding and
copy the following files into it:

bells.mbm
Wedding.aif
Wedding.app

Initial Set-Up
--------------

When the program first runs it creates two databases in the
root directory called WEDDING and WEDPREF. WEDDING contains
all the guest data and WEDPREF contains the preferences. It
is wise to back up the WEDDING database to your PC on a
regular basis.
Choose File->Prefs from the menu and enter your default
state/province/county and country that the majority of your
guests live. These defaults will be used to prefill the
relevant fields when entering new guests into the database,
thus saving time by not having to type these every time.

Explanation of Features
-----------------------

'Prev'/'Next'

'New Guest'

Press enter to accept the new guest or escape to cancel.

'Enter Response'

Allows you to indicate whether the current guest will attend.
The default response when entering a new guest is 'Invitation

keep track of who you still need to write an invitation to.

'Enter Gift'

Presents a popup which allows you to enter a text description
of the gift received from the current guest.

'Find Lastname'

Presents a popup which allows you to enter a last name and then
makes the guest with that last name the current displayed guest.

'Show Responses'

This option allows you to display only the guests with a certain
response. (eg. You can use this option to cycle through guests
who you have not yet written an invitation to.) To bring up all
guests choose 'Show All Responses'.

'Show Gift'

This option allows you to display only the guests who have given
you the same gift. It presents a popup allowing you to enter a
word that it will use to search through all the gifts for a match.
(eg. entering 'toaster' will bring up the guests whose gift
contain the word 'toaster'). This enables you to see what
duplicates of items you may have. To bring up all guests choose
'Show All Responses' from the 'Show Responses' option.

'Stats'

'Note'

for the current guest.

'Export'

This option can be used to give names and addresses to people
throwing showers for the bride-to-be.

'Close'

Quits the application.
